Custom-Designed Jewelry

If you have a particular design in mind for a ring, pendant or other fine piece of jewelry, we can make your wishes come true. Achikian Goldsmiths is famous for it's one-of-a-kind specially-designed wedding bands, rings, pendants, and other unique pieces. We work in 14k and 18k gold and platinum.

Diamonds

We offer the best diamond prices in the area. Prices are quoted based on cut, clarity, color, and carat weight. When you are in the market for your first diamond purchase, or for a very special event for that special person (and that includes yourself!) come visit us.

Financing

We offer financing over periods of 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, or two years.  Select the option that is most convenient to you.  Call our shop for more information - (703) 255-2255 or (800) 883-4044.  In addition, you can choose to add Account Security Plus to protect your items purchased on your account from being stolen or destroyed.   Take the piece of jewelry you love home today!

Retipping

Retipping the prongs that surround your diamonds and other precious stones, helps to ensure that you will not lose them. We offer free jewelry inspection. Retipping is done using 14k and 18k gold or platinum depending on the piece. Retipping is an inexpensive way to safeguard your precious jewelry.

Remounting

Remounting a solitaire or other stones you've had in your possession or inherited is a specialty of Achikian Goldsmiths. Sometimes you just want a "new look". Visit our goldsmith and discuss an updated design for your jewelry, whether its using only your stones, or adding new ones to complete the look. We offer a variety of in-stock mountings or custom designs made to capture the look you want.

Pearl and Bead Restringing

Let us professionally check your strands of pearls and beads before breakage occurs. Knots between pearls and beads prevent scratches and abrasions. They also prevent the from getting lost when you strand breaks. Old stringing material becomes soiled and therefore, deteriorates. Our restringing fees are very modest. With our custom restringing you will be able to wear your pearls or beads without fear of losing them.

Appraisals

We encourage you to have your fine jewelry appraised for insurance purposes. If you need your jewelry appraised, we are here to help you. When you purchase jewelry from us or when we make the piece for you, you can request an appraisal for your jewelry for no additional charge. However, if you bring in your own items, our regular rates are $75 for each piece.

Layaway

Select your favorite jewelry item for yourself or that special someone, and we will be happy to hold it for you in Layaway for 90 days, with as little as a 25% deposit. Now is a great time to plan for that very special event. No interest charges will be applied!
